DIFFERENT LAYERS CAN BE OVERLAID AND VISUALIZED TO DRAW OUT MEANINGFUL INFORMATION.
THIS APPLICATION CAN BE USED TO ACCESS INFORMATION ABOUT CITY SERVICES TO LOCATE A DEVELOPMENT PLAT USING ITS APPLICATION NUMBER TO FIND IF A PROPERTY IS WITHIN A FLOOD ZONE, TO LOOK UP LAND USE INFORMATION, ET CETERA.
AS YOU ALL ARE AWARE, DELIVERABLE PLACES HOUSING RECOMMENDATIONS CAME INTO EFFECT ON NOVEMBER 27TH.

AND WHEN CONSTRUCTION STARTED ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO, THE FIRST STEP THAT THE DEVELOPER TOOK WAS TO RAISE THE LOT LEVEL OVER TWO FEET IN SPITE OF THEIR ASSURANCES THAT THERE WAS A DRAINAGE PLANT TO PREVENT RUNOFF FROM THOSE UNITS ONTO MY PROPERTY.
THEY DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THAT ASSURANCE.
AND BETWEEN RAISING THE LEVEL OF THE ADJACENT LOT AND INCREASING THE LOT COVERAGE TO ROUGHLY 80%, MY LOT HAS BECOME A DETENTION POND FOR THE THREE UNITS NEXT DOOR.
AND I'M AFRAID THAT THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT BY SANDCASTLE HOMES ON MY OTHER SIDE WILL WORK IN THIS PROBLEM AND THAT IT WILL ESSENTIALLY MAKE MY PROPERTY INTO THEIR DRAINAGE PLAN FOR, UH, THEIR DEVELOPMENT.

IT'S A 3,600 SQUARE FOOT HOME THAT'S BEING, UM, PROPOSED ON A 6,200 SQUARE FOOT LOT WITH A 1700 SQUARE FOOT GARAGE.
UM, I DO NOT WISH TO, UM, ASSUME WHAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE UTILIZED WITH THIS 1700 SQUARE FOOT GARAGE, BUT I WOULD HOPE THAT IT IS NOT A BUSINESS AS WE ARE NOT A TYPICALLY ZONED NEIGHBORHOOD.
WE DON'T HAVE AN HOA, UM, IN ADDITION, UM, MY HOUSE SITS ON THE CORNER AND IT IS ACTUALLY A DEAD END STREET.

THIS IS THE SAME PROJECT THAT RECEIVED APPROVAL FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE AUGUST 10TH MEETING.
THE APPLICANT IS NOT SUBMITTING A NEW PLAT AND IS UTILIZING THEIR PREVIOUSLY APPROVED ONE.
THIS APPLICATION IS PURELY A HOTEL VARIANCE.
THEY'RE RETURNING BECAUSE THEY'RE INCREASING THE ROOM COUNT FROM 55 TO 80 ROOMS, CHANGING SOME OF THEIR FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPTIONS AND ARE SHIFTING SOME OF THEIR ONSITE PARKING TO AN OFFSITE PARKING GARAGE.
A HOTEL VARIANCE IS REQUIRED WITH THIS APPLICATION BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT TAKING VEHICULAR ACCESS FROM EITHER A MAJOR THOROUGHFARE, A FOUR LANE ROAD OR HIGHWAY ACCESS ROAD.
NO NOTIFICATION IS REQUIRED UNDER THE CURRENT HOTEL MOTEL ORDINANCE BECAUSE UNLIKE THE PREVIOUS APPLICATION, THEY'RE NOW EXCEEDING THE 75 ROOM THRESHOLD, WHICH WOULD REQUIRE A RESIDENTIAL TEST CASE PLANNED.

THEY'RE NOW PROPOSING AN 80 ROOM HOTEL.
THE TOTAL PARKING SPACES CALCULATED BY THE CITY IS NOW 78 AND THEY'LL BE PROVIDING 26 PARKING SPACES ON SITE AND 85 AT AN OFFSITE PARKING GARAGE FOR A TOTAL OF 111 SPACES BEING PROVIDED.
THE ONSITE GARAGE IS NOW SMALLER AND IS TAKING VEHICULAR ACCESS FROM CROCKER STREET TO THE WEST INSTEAD OF HYDE PARK BOULEVARD TO THE SOUTH.
THEY'RE USING STACKERS IN THE ONSITE GARAGE TO HOLD 26 CARS TOTAL.
AND THE SMALL PARKING GARAGE WILL BE LOCATED AR ACROSS CROCKER, WHICH WILL HOLD THE 85 CARS.
HYDE PARK BOULEVARD WILL NOW HAVE NO VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE GARAGE, BUT WILL HAVE A VALET AND DROP OFF ZONE.
ADJACENT TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE, YOU CAN SEE THE PROPOSED PARKING GARAGE IN GRAY BEHIND THE HOTEL AT THE CORNER OF FAIRVIEW AND CROCKER.
