UM, AND JUST TO GIVE YOU MY BONAFIDE DAYS, I'M PRESIDENT OF THE GREATER HEIGHTS, UH, SUPER NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL ON THE HOUSTON GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL PEDESTRIAN BIKE SUBCOMMITTEE, AND FOUNDER OF A GROUP IN THE HEIGHTS THAT STOOD UP FOR THE 11TH STREET SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, WHICH, UH, FOR THOSE OF US WHO USE IT, HAS BEEN, I THINK, PRETTY SUCCESSFUL. UM, THE REASON I'M HERE TODAY, TO FOLLOW ON WITH WHAT CHRISTINA, UH, WAS TALKING ABOUT, THE ORANGE NETTING, UH, THERE ARE TWO PROBLEMS. THE IDM DOESN'T ADDRESS ANY SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE DETOURS. I TOO WOULD LIKE TO, GO AHEAD. I'M SORRY. I TOO WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A COMMENT, UH, ABOUT THAT. I AM A EXPERIENCED CYCLIST, BUT SOMETIMES, UH, THINGS CAN HAPPEN WHERE YOU HAVE TO THINK, THINK QUICKLY. SO THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME AND I FELL PRETTY HARD. IF IT WASN'T FOR MY HELMET, I PROBABLY WOULD'VE HAD A REAL SERIOUS INJURY.
