UH, WE'VE BEEN HAVING LOTS OF CONVERSATIONS ABOUT WHAT'S HAPPENING AT IAH, UH, COUNCIL MEMBER ALCORN HAS ALSO JOINED US IN, UH, CHAMBERS AND ONLINE.

WE HAVE STAFF FROM COUNCIL MEMBER MARTIN'S OFFICE AND, UH, CI NERO'S OFFICE.

SO WE'VE GOT A GOOD GROUP HERE TODAY.

I WANNA START OFF BY TALKING ABOUT THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PRESENTATION THAT WE ARE MAKING TO YOU TODAY, UM, TO MAKE A, A COUPLE OF POINTS.

AND FIRST IS THAT THE LAST TIME THAT YOU MAY RECALL, WE WERE BEFORE YOU WAS MAY 26TH.

SO IT'S ABOUT FOUR MONTHS TIME.

UM, AND A LOT HAS HAPPENED, UH, SINCE THEN.

UH, WE HAVE ON THE AGENDA FOR THE SEPTEMBER 28TH COUNCIL MEETING, SIX RCAS.

AND WE WANNA HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO GO THROUGH THE DETAILS OF THOSE SIX RCAS TODAY.

AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, WE'RE CERTAINLY HERE TO, UH, UH, HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THEM.

UH, WE, WE HAVE SOME PROGRESS, UH, UH, VIDEOS, AND WE'VE GOT PROGRESS PHOTOS, AND WE'VE GOT PROGRESS INFORMATION TO, UH, SHARE WITH YOU, UM, ON THE LOOK AND FEEL OF WHAT THIS TERMINAL IS GONNA LOOK LIKE.

UM, AT THE, AT THE AIRPORT, THE WANTED TO ALSO TALK ABOUT THE PROGRESS THAT WE'VE MADE DESPITE COVID, DESPITE THE SUPPLY CHAIN DISRUPTIONS, DESPITE THE LABOR SHORTAGE THAT EVERYONE IS EXPERIENCING AND INFLATIONARY PRESSURES.

I THINK WE STILL HAVE A VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD, UH, REPORT AND PRESENTATION TO MAKE.

UH, WE'RE GONNA PROVIDE YOU WITH MORE DETAILS, UM, INCLUDING A NEW COMMUNICATIONS PLAN THAT WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED AND WE REALIZED THAT WE NEED TO DO, UM, BETTER WITH COMMUNICATING WITH THE PUBLIC ABOUT WHAT IT IS THAT IS, UM, COMING FORTH THAT IS BEING CONSTRUCTED AT THE AIRPORT SYSTEM AND THE TIMELINE FOR THAT.

AS MARIO MENTIONED, WE'LL BE, UH, PROVIDING A BRIEF UPDATE, UM, ON I TRIP, BOTH IN TERMS OF ITS CONSTRUCTION, UM, AND ALSO IN TERMS OF SOME UPCOMING COUNCIL ACTIONS.

SO JUST TO REMIND, UM, UM, EVERYONE WHAT I, TRIPP IS I, TRIPP STANDS FOR THE IH TERMINAL REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

UH, IT'S MADE UP, MADE UP OF TWO LARGE, UH, MAIN PROGRAMS FOR OUR INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL, AS WELL AS A NUMBER OF ENABLING PROJECTS, UH, COMMENCED INITIALLY WITH THE NEW SEA NORTH EXPANSION, UH, TO GIVE US WAY TO EXPAND WITH THE NEW PIER.

UM, WE HAVE OBVIOUSLY IN THE NORTH, NORTH CONCOURSE PROJECT, WHICH IS, UH, IN THE SENSE OF A NEW PIER THAT WE'RE CONSTRUCTING, AS WELL AS REFURBISHMENTS OF THE EXISTING, UH, TERMINAL DE.

WE ARE THEN, UH, EXPANDING AND BUILDING A NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART INTERNATIONAL PROCESSOR IN THE PARKINGS, UH, GARAGE DE LOCATION, UH, IN FRONT OF THE OLD TERMINAL E.

AND THAT'LL BECOME OUR NEW INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURES, UH, TERMINAL.

WE ARE EXPANDING THE SEA PARKING GARAGE WITH SOME ADDITIONAL PARKING LEVELS.

UH, WE HAVE A ENABLING UTILITIES PROJECT THAT ALLOWS US TO SUBSTANTIALLY IMPROVE AND UPDATE, UM, OUR WATER DISTRIBUTION NETWORK WITHIN OUR CENTRAL TERMINAL AREA.

WE'VE HAD TO RELOCATE THE RADIO, UH, CONTROL TOWER, WHICH IS A REAL IMPORTANT PIECE FOR HARRIS COUNTY AND THE CITY OF HOUSTON, UH, IN TERMS OF, ITS, UH, COVERS 1700 SQUARE MILES OF, OF COVERAGE, UH, AS WELL AS SOME, UM, FIRST RESPONDER AND 9 1 1, UH, BACKUP SYSTEMS. AND THEN WE HAVE THE INFRASTRUCTURE DIVISION OFFICE BUILDING WHERE THE PROGRAM TEAM, DESIGNERS, CONTRACTORS, AND THE HAS INFRASTRUCTURE TEAM, WE'RE ALL CO-LOCATED FOR, UH, UH, INTEGRATED DELIVERY AND, AND FOR SEAMLESS WORKING.

SO THAT, THAT ENCOMPASSES, UH, THE PROGRAM'S SCOPE.

UH, NEXT SLIDE, PLEASE.

AND IN TERMS OF, UM, THE PROGRAM, WE'VE, UM, BEEN GOING, UH, AND ACHIEVED A LOT, UH, TO DATE.

AND WE, WE'VE GOT SOME REALLY EXCITING MILESTONES COMING UP.

UM, SO WE'LL START WITH THE ONES THAT ARE STILL TO COME.

WE'VE GOT THE REFURBISHMENTS OF TERMINAL D, WHICH WILL BE COMPLETE IN OCTOBER NEXT YEAR, ALONG WITH THE NEW PAIR, ALSO COMPLETE IN OCTOBER NEXT YEAR.

WE HAVE SOME OF DATES ARE SLIGHTLY EARLIER THAN THAT, THAT WE'RE HOPING TO BRING IT IN.

SO REAL, REAL GOOD PERFORMANCE THERE.

AND THEN WE HAVE THE NEW PARKING LEVELS WE'LL OPEN AT THE END OF NEXT YEAR IN DECEMBER, 2023 WITH THE INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL OPENING, UM, IN Q4 2024.

SO THE OVERALL PROGRAM, UH, WILL BE COMPLETE IN THE EARLY PART OF 25, BUT, UH, FOR THE FINAL STAGES OF, OF CLOSEOUTS AND ET CETERA, UH, WITH THE, ALL THE SCOPING OPEN AND OPERATIONAL BY THE END OF 24, THE BUDGET IS 1.36 BILLION.

AND WE'LL, WE'LL TALK A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THAT NEXT, UH, NEXT SLIDE PLEASE.

SO IN TERMS OF THE BUDGET, UM, WE'LL REMEMBER THE 1.3 BILLION, UM, THE, THE PROGRAM HAS, UM, YOU KNOW, THROUGHOUT THE, UH, LAST MANY YEARS HAS BEEN ABLE TO MAINTAIN AND PERFORM AND, YOU KNOW, HUGE CREDIT TO THE PROGRAM TEAM, THE CONTRACTORS AND DESIGNERS WHO'VE REALLY PARTNERED WITH US, KEEPING US WITHIN BUDGET.

BUT THE RECENT CHALLENGES WE'VE SEEN WITH COVID AND THE HYPERINFLATION ENVIRONMENT, UH, ASSOCIATED WITH, UM, A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT AREAS FROM THE WAR IN UKRAINE TO OIL AND, UH, HAS REALLY IMPACTED THE PROGRAM.

UH, AND SO WE'VE, WE'VE IN, WE'VE INCLUDED A, A NUMBER OF AND, UH, UH, IMPACTS TO THE BUDGET MARKET ESCALATION IS, IS ATTRIBUTED TO ABOUT A $22 MILLION INCREASE IN THE BUDGET, WHICH IS 1.7.

SO WE'VE MANAGED TO MITIGATE A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT THAT'S NOT INCLUDED WITHIN THE 22 WE'VE MANAGED TO MAINTAIN WITHIN OUR BUDGET.

UH, BUT THAT WAS, YOU KNOW, PURELY BEYOND OUR ABILITY TO MAIN, UH, TO CONTAIN, AND THAT'S EVERYTHING FROM STEEL PRICES TO STAINLESS STEEL, THE FUEL IMPACTS, AND IT'S, IT'S FAR REACHING.

UH, WE'VE HAD, UH, WE'VE INVESTED, UM, TO IMPROVE THE TRAFFIC, UM, ELEMENTS AROUND THE WHOLE CENTRAL TERMINAL AREA OF ABOUT 11.1.

AND THAT'S TO REALLY HELP IMPROVE THE PASSENGER EXPERIENCE AND MITIGATE SOME OF THE LONG QUEUING THAT WE'VE HAD.

AND WE'VE ALSO TAKEN THE OPPORTUNITY WITH SOME OF THE WORK THAT WE ARE DOING TO GET SOME EFFICIENCY OF SCOPE DELIVERY AND ADDED SCOPE TO THE PROGRAM, TO THE TUNE OF ABOUT $30 MILLION, 2.3%.

UM, AND THAT BRINGS US UP TO A BUDGET OF 1.36 BILLION, WHICH IS JUST UNDER 6% INCREASE FROM, FROM THE 1.3 THAT WE PREVIOUSLY, UH, SPOKE ABOUT.

AND SO WE'LL GO THROUGH SOME CONSTRUCTION UPDATES, UM, AND SOME PHOTOS.

WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS JUST A REMINDER OF THE, THE INTENT, THE DESIGN INTENT OF WHAT WE'LL BE LOOKING TO BUILD, UH, WITH THE NEW PIER, UM, WITH SOME REALLY BIG OPEN AIRY SPACES, SOME FANTASTIC ARTWORK THAT WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT, AND SOME GREAT ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES.

AND THAT'S OUR NEW, UH, DEPARTURES LEVEL WHERE THE HOLD ROOMS WILL BE.

UM, AND SO THAT'LL BE COMPLETING AND THE STEEL SHOULD BE GOING UP, UM, IN, IN NOVEMBER, DECEMBER THIS YEAR.

UM, YOU'LL START SEEING THE WHOLE, UM, OF THE NEW PIER TAKING SHAPE.

AND SO WE'VE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE THE ACTUAL AIRLINES THEMSELVES COME AND LOOK AND WALK AROUND AND USE AND TEST THE DESKS AS WELL AS, UM, OUR IT SUPPLIERS PROVIDING THE EQUIPMENT.

UM, AND WE'VE USED THIS AS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO REALLY TEST THE PRODUCT BEFORE IT GETS, UH, INSTALLED WITHIN THE FACILITY.

AND NEXT SLIDE, PLEASE.

UM, AND SO LAST TIME WE WERE HERE, WE PRESENTED A GREAT VIDEO OF SOME OF THE INNOVATIVE AND INCREDIBLE CONSTRUCTION WORK OF INSTALLING THE STERILE CORRIDOR.

THAT'S THE SEGREGATED CORRIDOR THAT PASSENGERS OR INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS ARRIVING NEED TO TRAVEL THROUGH, UH, WHERE WE LIFTED THESE OVERNIGHT.

AND SO GREAT PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE ON COMPLETING AND CLOSING IT UP WHERE WE HAVE THE DECK AND THE CEILING POURED, UH, AND INSTALLED.

UM, AND WE'LL BE LOOKING TO START PUTTING ON THE SIDES AND DOING THE FIT OUT THERE.

AND THAT HAS, UH, HAS ALLOWED US TO NOT ONLY MITIGATE SOME OF THE HUGE TRAFFIC BUILDUPS, BUT FIND A MORE OPPORTUNE TIME TO DO IT.

UH, BUT WITH WHAT WE THINK IS A GOOD INVESTMENT OF ADDITIONAL COST, THOUGH, UH, WE THEN HAVE THE, THE STANDARD TESTING AND COMMISSIONING ELEMENTS FOR THE NEW TERMINAL AS WELL AS OUR, UH, CONSTRUCTION MANAGER OR SINGLE BAIN WHERE WE ARE RELOCATING SOME OF THE SCOPE, UM, FROM, FROM THEM INTO, UH, THE HENSEL PHELPS CONTRACT TO ALLOW FOR A BETTER SEAMLESS DELIVERY OF THE TWO DIFFERENT ELEMENTS, UH, BEING COMBINED UNDER ONE, UH, BODY WHO'S ALSO ONE PERSON IMPACTING THE ROADWAYS.

WE THEN HAVE, UM, A CLOSEOUT CONTRACT AT THE END OF THE YEAR FOR THE INFRASTRUCTURE DIVISION OFFICE BUILDING.

WE HAVE THE UNITED REIMBURSABLE AGREEMENT, UH, WHICH IS THE APPROPRIATION OF UN UNREQUIRED MONEY THAT'LL HAPPEN AT THE BEGINNING OF NEXT YEAR.

UM, AND THEN OUR FINAL PMSS ANNUAL FUNDING NEXT YEAR, UM, OF ABOUT 12 MILLION.

AND THEN WE HAVE, AS WE MOVE INTO 2024, WE'VE GOT A APPROXIMATE 2 MILLION OF, UM, AIRLINE MOVES, UH, MONEY THAT WILL BE APPROPRIATING TO RELOCATE THEM FROM TERMINAL D INTO THE NEW, UH, INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL.
